Our baby girl tries her hardest everyday to show us that she is not a baby anymore. She is quite successful in her efforts, too.
Bonnie continues to change by the second, and as hard as it is for me to accept, she is growing up so fast. And we sure love her to pieces.
At 20 months, she:
*can count to ten, and is saying the numbers much more clearly now.
*still repeats EVERYTHING she hears.
*likes to pick out her own outfits and jammies.
*can't stand to have her diaper changed.
*loves to dance with her daddy to "Once Upon A Dream" and tries to sing along.
*likes Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, particularly "Sherry Baby."
*has her own pronunciations for several words, including mogo (yogurt), omo (oatmeal), mokace (necklace), bybin (vitamin), dot you (thank you), bess (gramps).
*loves princesses, or "pieces," as she calls them.
*still loves Dora.
*loves Dibs and calls them "dig dig digs!"
*says "wool kick" (real quick) and then takes off running.
*is starting to appreciate her big sister's affection for Scooby Doo and actually tried to sing the theme song the other night. It sounded something like, "Oolie Oolie Boo, eh ah you?"
*remains quite difficult to put to bed at night, as she prefers to nuzzle on my shoulder and sing every song in her repertoire while we rock in her glider. I am still loving the extra snuggle time.
*asks for Grace the second she wakes up in the morning or from a nap.
*when anyone says "I love you" to her, she responds, "Ieee toooo!"
We had a great Good Friday. Although we didn't go to church (we're still getting back into the swing of things after a rough week), the girls and I spent a much needed afternoon out at my parents' house, and I was able to get a couple of errands done with my dad.
We are looking forward to the Easter weekend!
