As soon as we dropped Grace off at school this morning, Bonnie and I headed to the pediatrician's office for her check-up.
Without further ado, her stats are as follows:
Length - 35 1/2 inches - 89th percentile
Weight - 26 pounds 41st percentile
Head Circumference - 19 1/2 inches - 93rd percentile
Funny thing about this appointment - Bonnie screamed her little head off while Dr. Jeff performed his physical exam. She wanted nothing to do with having her ears, eyes and throat looked at. At all.
When it came time for her Hep A booster shot and the finger prick to check her cholesterol? Not a peep. Not even a little whimper. Go figure. In fact, she even got her name put up on the "Super Star" wall for not crying during the shots.
I had to laugh, however, when the nurse asked me if Bonnie ever has any temper tantrums. Seriously?
The good news is that our sweet girl is healthy and growing right on track. Which is always news I want to hear.
After the doctor, we hit up Target to pick out a little toy for being so brave. Her selection? My Little Pony. Here we go again!
