The Princess and the Vampirate

With Corey in Montreal last week, we had to turn Pancake Saturday into Waffle Saturday.  (I also didn't have any pancake mix, which is an utter sin in this house).

As a result, I made sure to hit up Publix before Corey got home on Saturday afternoon so that we could have Pancake Sunday.

The girls didn't seem to mind too much.  They've clearly tasted my pancakes and have no qualms about letting me know that their daddy is a much better pancake chef.  Grace was also fired up about the Canadian maple syrup Corey brought home.

After breakfast we decided to have a relaxing day at home.  Corey was under the weather and taking both girls to church without him is just not happening yet.

We had fun watching them play together and it seems that our little Bonnie is shaping up to be quite a girly-girl. Corey has been holding out hope that she might be a little tom-boyish, but the outlook is not good...

On the other hand, there was never any hope for Grace.  She was born the girliest girl on the planet.  Corey forgot this fact for a moment and got really excited when she told him that she wanted to play pirates.  He was quickly brought back to reality when she chose the flower eye patch.

I also didn't have the heart to tell her that the vampire teeth fit over her real teeth...
