the raindrops started turning into snowflakes! Grace was so excited and wanted to get outside as fast as possible to play in (eat) the snow.

After putting Bonnie down for her nap, we hurried to get dressed. We may have been in a little too much of a rush because Grace almost forgot to put her jacket on. She managed to remember her snow boots, though, and eventually everything else, too.
She had so much fun eating the snow,
making snowballs,
eating the snow,
running around,
eating the snow,
and playing with mommy. A very nice neighbor driving by noticed that I was struggling to take your standard "stretch out the arm to try to get a picture of the two of us" pose and stopped to help us out.
