Bonnie woke up (again!) with a snotty nose and a warm forehead Saturday morning, so unfortunately she had to miss Grace's very first soccer game of the season. For the record, this is her third cold since school started on August 23.
Her sister's absence didn't stop our little Scorpion from having an awesome first game, though! Coach Dad wasn't too shabby, either.
When she wasn't chatting with her teammates, watching the grass grow, striking a pose on the field, or checking out the other girls' shoes, Grace almost scored a goal! The ball bounced right off the goal post.
And while we didn't keep score (the Scorpions totally beat the Pumas 5-3), all of the girls did a great job and looked absolutely adorable to boot.
A visit to Pinkberry after the game for some frozen yogurt was definitely the cherry on top of the afternoon!
